Functional description
Automatic switch-on devices are used to e.g. Switch on electric motors or other inductive loads with a time delay. This is an important facility to ensure trouble-free start-up.
When electric motors are switched on, high inrush currents occur, which are approximately 6 times the value of the nominal current. If you now switch on two motors at the same time, the starting currents are in an area where the upstream fuse can trip. To prevent this, the second drive is switched on with a time delay using a switch-on delay. This has the further advantage that the second drive switches on automatically after approx. 1-4 sec. Without further operation and switches off again after a delay after the main drive has been switched off.
This is a useful facility for suction devices and much more.

Description CCST, automatic switch-on with run-on time
CCST with fixed time and with variable on-off time and switch-on threshold, 3 potentiometers
The run-on control receives its operating voltage via connections L1 and N.
The control signal of the overrun control is the load current of the connected consumer. The controlling consumer is connected between the connections L1 Load and N.
If the consumer is switched on, the relay picks up with a delay and the contact SP is connected to the N terminal. If the load current is interrupted, the relay is opened again with a delay. The contact SP controls via a contactor e.g. a suction.
Depending on the version, the module may only be operated at 230V or 400V.
The device must be protected against this module.
If a potential-free switch contact is required, the bridge (plated-through hole) between the connections N and NSP must be separated with a 3mm drill. The copper ring around the hole should be removed completely. The switching contact of the relay is then between SP and NSP.
