The PSR series includes the most compact soft starters, enabling the design of compact starting devices. The system concept with motor protection switches and the PSR series products provides a significantly more compact starting device than, for example, a star-delta starter.

Function description
Complete Motor Protection
PSTX provides complete motor protection in a single device and operates even with load or network irregularities. PT-100, ground fault protection, and over/under voltage protection, along with many other features, make your motor safer than ever before.
Integrated Bypass
When full speed is reached, PSTX activates its bypass. This saves energy and reduces the heat generation of the soft starter. The bypass in PSTX is built-in and tested by ABB. This saves time in installation and space in the control panel.
Complete Pump Control
It is time to leverage the full potential of your processes. PSTX offers many features for application optimization, such as torque control. The most efficient way to start and stop pumps. The pump cleaning function can reverse the pump flow and clean the pipes, thereby ensuring the availability of your pump system.
Three Types of Current Limitation
PSTX provides three types of current limitation: Standard, double, and ramp. This gives you full control over your motor at startup. You can also use your motor in weaker networks with this.
Easy-to-Use and Detachable Keyboard
A user-friendly and clear display saves time and resources during setup and operation. The detachable keyboard is included as standard with all PSTX soft starters.
Slow Speed Tapping
The slow forward and reverse tapping operation increases flexibility, for example, when operating conveyor belts and cranes. PSTX offers positioning options to control your processes.
Customizable
PSTX comes with 14 pre-installed languages and allows the setup of up to five different startup screens. Important information for your process can be displayed on these custom startup screens while unimportant information can be hidden.
