Function description
Turn-on delays are used to switch electrical motors or other inductive loads on and off with a delay. This is an important feature to ensure a smooth startup. High inrush currents occur when switching on electrical motors, which can be about six times the rated current. If two motors are switched on simultaneously, the starting currents may reach a level that could trigger the upstream fuse. To prevent this, the second drive is switched on with a time delay using a turn-on delay. This has the added advantage that the second drive automatically turns on after about 3 seconds without any further operation and automatically turns off after the main drive is switched off. This is a useful feature for extraction systems and much more. Through the optional Auto-0-Manual switch, the extraction (Slave) can also be activated when the saw (Master) is not turned on. Each master socket independently activates the two slave sockets.
