Operating manual Security informationFunction description
Delay switches are used to turn on and off electric motors or other inductive loads with a time delay. This is an important feature to ensure smooth starting. When electric motors are switched on, high inrush currents occur, which can be approximately six times the rated current. If two motors are turned on simultaneously, the starting currents can reach levels that may cause the upstream fuse to trip. To prevent this, the second drive is turned on with a delay switch. This has the additional advantage that the second drive automatically switches on after about 3 seconds without further operation and automatically switches off after the main drive is turned off. This is a useful feature for extraction systems and much more. Through the Auto-0-Manual switch (optional), the extraction (Slave) can also be activated even when the saw (Master) is not switched on. Each Master socket independently activates the two Slave sockets.
