Function description
Direction locks are used on machines where starting in the wrong direction poses a danger to the drive, the product, or the operating personnel. Such drives can include conveyor belts in production facilities, mixers for mortar and similar materials, or gearbox units. The control board for field reversal checks the incoming field from the power supply side and activates the corresponding output relay for the respective output contactor, ensuring that the desired field is always present at the output.
