Universal process indicator

The ITP17 is a universal indicator for monitoring industrial processes. It features a three-color display that shows parameters in green, yellow, and red. You can adjust the thresholds for color changes to suit your specific needs. The ITP17 simplifies the selection process through direct connection to a variety of sensors, including sensors for temperature, level, pressure, and humidity, etc.

Main Features of ITP17

• Three-color seven-segment display (green, red, yellow)
• Configurable analog input (0-5 mA, 0(4)-20 mA, 0(2)-10 V), RTD and thermocouple signals.
• Programming via MicroUSB.
• ON/OFF control: Includes an NPN output for the ON/OFF control function.
• Operating modes: continuous display of the measured parameter/three-color display according to thresholds.
• Standardized design, fits in a standard 22.5 mm hole for signal lamps.

Operation of ITP17:

• 4-digit three-color display.

• Three-color display: Configurable according to desired thresholds.
• Operating modes: Continuous display of the measured parameter in red, yellow, or green, similar to ITP14 and ITP16.
• Alarm display: Triggered by a signal interruption or when measurements exceed specific limits.
• Output: For signaling or control with 200 mA and 42 V.
• Power supply: From an external DC source of 10...30 V.

Display Operation

The visual notification of the measurement status of the ITP-17 is accompanied by an automatic color change. Let us consider an example of setting up the color signaling of the heating process. Four events are defined: Normal, Undercooling, Overheating, and Emergency Overheating. Each event has its own display color.

The ITP-17 indicator setup allows the configuration of any custom color change thresholds and corresponding colors within the signal measurement range. The only rule is that the thresholds for each subsequent color zone must be greater than the previous threshold.
